Start your holiday season with a “Stroll Down Christmas Tree Lane” with ACT for MS at the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa in Indian Wells. This favorite fund-raising event starts Sunday, November 29 with an array of beautifully designed Christmas trees on display at the base of the elegant staircase in the hotel lobby. The trees will be offered via silent auction bidding. Over the years a long-list of celebrities have commissioned the organization to decorate trees in their theme, which has successfully attracted generous donations.
This annual event continues to be a traditional special occasion for many in the Coachella Valley with the opportunity to share in the joy of the season coupled with the spirit of giving. The week’s display of decorated trees will culminate with an early evening social to include cocktails, hors’dourves, live music and a live auction at the Renaissance beginning at 5 PM. The 2010 Annual Gala at the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa in Indian Wells will include a fine dining experience, live entertainment and dancing. A special part of the evening is the exclusive “ASK” program to raise awareness of the multiple sclerosis population in the Coachella Valley and the opportunity for guests to make a donation in support of the programs and services offered at no charge to the participants. ACT for MS fund-raising is directed 100% to the needs of Coachella Valley individuals living with Multiple Sclerosis. This local fund-raiser, which results to benefit local community members (our neighbors, friends and families)remains a popular event in the Valley’s Spring social calendar.
